So my Inmate's nowhere to be found, and I've been followed by a horde of flying hearts for most of my time here. McCoy, Martha--you guys did make sure I woke up, right?

Anyway, I just paid one of those adorable winged children for my fortune, and I'm not sure if she was trying to be rude or offering actual advice. Has anyone else been snarked at by them?

Of course we did! We couldn't not. Oh, Libby, isn't this place brilliant? Those little cherbubs told me that I would love a man who wore many faces and they were right!

Well, mine pointed out, in so many words, that there's a new big guy close to me who might be getting closer in the time to come. I don't know whether to laugh or cry or drown myself in alcohol, honestly.

And you--you're not your usual self, I can tell. What happened?

[Martha sounds completely and utterly glowy, and her voice is a soft coo. In the back ground, theres the sound of a singing ring.] Oh Libby, isn't it wonderful? I'm married!

[Libby would be headdesking, but she's nowhere near a desk...fortunately for her head.]

To whom?

The Doctor. Not my first Doctor, though. Or the meta Doctor. No, the Fifth Doctor. The blond one. [There's a giggle.] He's brilliant, and fantastic and charming and he plays cricket and he writes poetry about me... really, his words are one of the most lovely thing about him...

[Happy little sigh, and then there's the singing ring that chimed in.] A love through time makes heart's chime!

This isn't going to end well...

Martha, you haven't, um...consummated your union yet, have you?

Of course it's going to end well. How can it not? It's wonderful. He's fantastic!

Libby... [A low laugh.] Where do you think I am right now?

Have you completely forgotten about all the different ways ports can mess without our heads?

[She sighs.] Goddammit, Martha...

Of course not! The Doctor and I just had tea. And it was sweet. It was lovely, Libby. Really. I must bring you some of this tea. It's wonderful.

Well, eventually.

Do me a favor and promise me you won't have any more of that tea. I think it's been laced with something.

I promise. I don't need any more anyway! But really, it's wonderful!

I believe you. Wonderful until it wears off, anyway.

Just try not to consummate things a second time, okay?

I've seen those cherubim! They didn't tell me anything terribly insulting, per se, but I'm rather intrigued by a fortune such as "You love like a Möbius Strip trapped in an Escher painting."

Granted, given what I've only just begun to be blessed with, I welcome the challenge they suggest with open arms!

it certainly is, and such a lovely place! Did you see the sunset from over the bridge last evening? It was most rapturous!

I'm not sure if being a first-timer will make the consequences easier or harder for you to deal with.

Interestingly enough, that is a situation I've encountered all too often, though never have I been lucky enough to encounter it regarding things which bring joy.
